1:12 Tamiya Porsche Turbo RSR 934 In 1982 me and my best friend bought 2 of this newly released Tamiya 1:12 plastic kit. Even though I had some problems with my kit, including frying the chassis pan in my oven while drying some paint, thanks to Tamiya's excellent service, I succeeded to finish the kit in the sunning Jägermeister livery. My friend did only some minor work on the kit, before other tasks took his attention, and the kit went into storage. In the early spring of 2013 my friend was scheduled to collect me an early morning for a slot car race in Odense and he brought me his kit for me to assemble with the message that he would not be able to finish it as he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer :-( what a morning !! He died in july 2014 after a terrible time, that nearly laid myself wasted :-( I did, however finish the kit in Brumos livery as per his instructions and he wanted me to keep the model as a memory.
